Definition of world heritage base on Operational Guidelines for the Implementation of the World Heritage Convention (2016), consists of cultural heritage and natural heritage, or mixed both of cultural and natural heritage. Cultural Heritage consists of:  Monuments: architectural works, works of monumental sculpture and painting, elements or structures of an archaeological nature, inscriptions, cave dwellings and combinations of features, which are of Outstanding Universal Value from the point of view of history, art or science;Groups of buildings: groups of separate or connected buildings which, because of their architecture, their homogeneity or their place in the landscape, are of Outstanding Universal Value from the point of view of history, art or science;Sites: works of man or the combined works of nature and of man, and areas including archaeological sites which are of Outstanding Universal Value from the historical, aesthetic, ethnological or anthropological points of view.

The Terms of Cultural Heritage in Indonesia

In the Indonesia law number 11 of 2010 about cultural heritage, the term of cultural heritage in the form of:

1. Heritage is heritage immaterial form of Objects of Cultural Heritage, Buildings of Cultural Heritage, Structures of Cultural Heritage, Sites of Cultural Heritage,and Region of Cultural Heritage on land and / or water that needs to be preserved its existence because it has significant value for the history, science, education , religion and / or culture through determination process.

2. Objects of Culutural Heritage
Objects of cultural heritage are objects of natural and / or man-made objects, whether movable or immovable, in the form of unit or group, or parts thereof, or their remnants who have a close relationship with the culture and history of human development.

3. Heritage Building
Heritage Building was built composition made of natural objects or man-made objects to meet the needs walled space and / or no walls and a roof.
